Relay

This morning we hit the track at Vaca High to support Papa C and so many others in their fight against cancer. Because it was Relay for Life day it was of course 100 degrees out. That did not stop Emmeilne. She rocked it even in the heat. She did a total of 21 laps during the day at least 15 she ran with Mr. Ryan. Thank goodness he was up for running with her. We went back later in the evening to see all the in memory and in honor of lumaniaries. It is such a moving event to see all the people cancer has impacted just around us. Emmeline made a few bags in memory and honor of some special people. We managed to find her bag that she made for Dr. Chris and Papa C, but couldn't find the bags for Uncle Moon and Grandpa C. With all the money raised it stills puzzles me that there isn't a cure. I look forward to the day when there is a cure and we don't have to walk for this cause.
