Meet Jet

After lots of research and the suggestion of a couple of Caden's therapists we decided to get a dog. Miss Ashley talked to us about getting a therapy dog to connect with Caden. She said she thought it would be helpful when he has anxiety and gets frustrated. Lately he has really been emotional and feeling lonely and like he doesn't fit in. Service dogs come with a hefty price tag of around $30,000 and the wait list is long. We found a breeder who has service dogs in the bloodline without the long wait and pricetag. After consulting with a trainer who is going to work with all of us we took Caden to meet the puppies. Emmeline was in hog heaven as I knew she would be, but Caden was so happy too. He loved being around them and loved visiting with the mama. So come March Jet will be joining our family. Heaven help me for getting into the puppy stage. Just when I thought things were getting easy. But who can resist this cute face! 

Hair cuts

Daddy is away and we are busy getting stuff done on our to do list. Today after school we tackled hair cuts. Emmeline decided on a trim until she talks to her ballet teacher. Caden got a  stylish cut. I couldn't have her cut too much of his curls off. We will see how it goes the next day styling his hair. 

Tea Party

Today Emmeline and her doll got all dressed up for a tea party with her friends at the Saturday Club. The girls had a great time with sticking their pinkies out while sipping tea and enjoying snacks. The highlight was the fun doll parade around the room. Emmeline can't wait for next year with the teddy bear theme. 

Bangs

So this happened today....

Nicole talked me into doing something different. I figure it's only hair and it will grow out. The downside - now Emmeline has discovered bangs and wants a new hair cut too!
