Jimmy Fallon

So tonight was the night that we had tickets for Jimmy Fallon in our grasp, hesitated for a minute and they were gone. I decided to watch and see who I missed out on. I was convinced Justin Timberlake or Channing Tatum would be on the show. Luckily they weren't on, but we did miss out on Tom Brokaw and Charlize Theron. Looks like we will try again for July and know not to hesitate.

Blessed

I'm pretty sure I cry at least once a day, I feel defeated often, go to bed at the wee hours of the morning utterly exhausted, but I always wake up feeling blessed. Often I wake up and find one of the three if not all 3 in our  bed and I look at them and I think I am so blessed I get to be their mom. I'm by no means perfect and I ask for grace and forgiveness often. Not only am I thankful for my 3 greatest blessing, but I'm so thankful for all the amazing mommies that surround me for this crazy journey. So blessed to have some amazing Moms to look up to and share all this with. Now I'm off to get clothes ready for school, change a load in the washer, fold some clothes, pack snacks, send some work emails, and go to bed at a crazy hour just to wake in the morning to feel blessed all over again.

Mothers are Important

Today I was able to celebrate Mother.'s Day with Jackson at preschool. I've been serenaded in the past by the twins, but this was my first for Jack. It was so sweet. I need to find a way to upload video.
After the sweetest song he showed off the flower and card he made and a special project he did with Daddy. I loved reading his answers and learned a lot about myself! Oh sweet Jackson I love you and love that you aren't too old to cuddle and snuggle with your mommy.

Mud Day!

Today was Jackson's first Mud Day! I was so excited for him. I still have such great memories of it from when I went there. So they don't dig a hole in the ground and add the hose like they did back in the day, but they do have a lot of fun. There were body painting stations, bubbles, chalk, shaving cream, water tables, sprinklers, Popsicles, and of course MUD!!! Jackson had a blast. He wasn't a big fan of this mud and didn't go crazy. He thought it was do cool he could paint himself green like the Hulk and then run shaving cream all over to take it off. It was so much fun watching all the kids.

Sew Excited

This weekend we finished up the hang out area near the playhouse. I'm not in love with the rock, but that can be fixed. I started sewing pillow covers Saturday night and got distracted with THE FIGHT OF THE CENTURY! I left my machine out to finish up the next day and Emmeline was begging me to learn. Things have been slightly crazy at our house and when I saw how excited she was I thought it was a perfect opportunity to spend some time with her. She did great! I sat with her for most of the pillow covers, but the last two I got up and let her do most of it solo with me standing next to her. You mat see some crooked stitches if you look close, but she did amazing and was so proud of herself. Way to go Miss Em!
A picture of the almost finished area.
