Day 2

Yep, they warned us that day 2 is bad and it for sure is no picnic. The 3 am wake up call to give medicine doesn't help. And it's pretty awful that your throat hurts so bad and yet you have to drink and swallow medicine to feel better. At 3 am when you are in pain in it really hard to understand that rationale. Today popscicles were his best friend and 7-11 slurpees make for an excellent lunch. Fingers crossed that day 3 is a little more manageable.
