Two Hands

Happiest Birthday to my two babies! I still can't believe that it has been 6 years. I remember that day like it was yesterday. There are still sounds, smells, and tastes that bring back a flood of memories. You have grown so much!
I have to say that this birthday hit me pretty hard as we took your birthday photos at the time you were born. I realized you have to now but up two hands to show your age. Seems like a little thing, but it got me chocked up.
I am so proud of you both! I learn so much everyday from each one of you. I love to see you both discover and learn new things. I love when you like to scientists and make discoveries and who knew how many Star Wars characters there could be? Em your take charge and motherly instincts is sweet to see. I love how you love to strike a pose and you love all things girly. You both love to giggle and love the Bulldogs. You two know how to push each other's buttons but also can be the best of friends. I wish it was the best of friends more often then the other, but I think in time that will change.
I find myself so incredibly blessed every day that I get to be your Mommy. I love that you both like to snuggle, bed time stories, and you both can't sleep without saying our special good night prayers together. I love you both so much, but can you please slow down this growing up thing?

Nights in SunRiver

As much as I love the daytime here I LOVE the night time. We would hang out listen to music, play games, cards, and almost nightly took a bike ride to the village for ice cream. One night we has movie night in our backyard and we treated the kids to mibature golf where Emmeline got a hole in one. And I can't forget the nights were always good for a drink or two or three.

Keeping Busy

We are staying busy in SunRiver and keeping the tooth fairy busy! Today we went to High Desert Museum. It was an amazing indoor outdoor museum. We happened to meet up with Uncle Dick and Uncle Steve's crew. The kids had a blast climbing, digging, and looking at all sorts of desert animals. Jackson and Emmeline touched a snake and I almost fainted!
The kids had a blast at an indoor kids exhibit. The moms were dying due to try shared costumes.
Caden and Emmeline had a great time at the otter display and rapture show. It was amazing they flew right over our head.
The museum was AWESOME! it was a bummer that we had to leave due to a rain, thunder, and lightening. But on the way to a dry activity Caden lost his tooth! So exciting!!!! Tooth Fairy will be coming again!

The SHARC

After a long couple days of bike rides it was time to start the day off relaxing. In the afternoons we have been going to the pool or The SHARC but today we decided to start their. The kids has fun with the DeTars, Metchos, and The Nash Family. We even got to have some fun with a summer college league team from Bend.

Cousins

After a long day of fun in the sun we enjoyed some down time and a nice dinner with Uncle Steve, Marsha, and their sweet girls. We all enjoyed a great meal, some wine, and great conversation. It was fun to see the kids play together. They had a blast at the park and followed it up with all sorts of fun at our house. I hope we can get then together again soon.

Ride to the Falls

Because I like to be punished and I have been snacking nonstop on this trip we decided to do another long bike ride to the falls. I'm glad we talked to some locals that told us to ignore the road closed sign and that they reassured us the trail was safe for kids and bike trailers. It was long 45 minute ride but worth every minute!

Ride to the River

We are loving the lazy pace of life and enjoying eating crazy like pancakes daily for breakfast, but it was time for some excerise. We loaded the kids up in the bike trailers and took a ride to the River and rode the back side of the community. On the way back Emmeline was eating her fruit leather and her very loose tooth came out! She was great and sooo excited! She couldn't wait to show someone her new space in her mouth and I was super thankful I brought the tooth fairy pillows!
